GRAFF ON THE PODIUM IN LE CASTELLET

Following a shortened race, GRAFF secured its first podium finish in the Bronze Cup category at Paul Ricard.
The first race of the 2026 Ultimate Cup Series season confirmed the GRAFF team's strong pace across its various driver line-ups.
Starting from 27th on the grid, the #8 car of David Droux took the lead after about ten laps, followed by the #9 of Éric Trouillet and the #57 of Stephan Rupp, who also took the lead at the end of his stint.
The #57 had a perfectly executed race and was in contention for a podium finish until the race was red-flagged due to a technical issue with the organisers' fuel pumps. Car #9 was fighting for the win in the Bronze Cup category until the race interruption and finished in 3rd place. The #8 car's race, meanwhile, was compromised by a collision with another competitor in the first hour.
Pascal Rauturier, Team Manager: “The level of competition has stepped up this year; no mistakes will be allowed if we want to win. We will be at Spa on May 12th and 13th to continue our testing programme and improve our performance.”
The next Ultimate Cup Series race will take place on May 31st at Magny-Cours.
À l’issue d'une course écourtée, GRAFF signe son premier podium en catégorie Bronze Cup au Paul Ricard.
La première course de la saison 2026 en Ultimate Cup Series a conforté la bonne vitesse de l'équipe GRAFF grâce à ses différents équipages.
Partie depuis la 27e position sur la grille, la #8 de David Droux était remontée jusqu'en tête de course après une dizaine de tours, suivie par la #9 d'Éric Trouillet et la #57 de Stephan Rupp qui prenait également la tête de la course à l'issue de son relais.
Course parfaitement exécutée pour la #57 qui était en lice pour un podium, jusqu’à l’interruption de la course au drapeau rouge, suite à un incident technique des pompes à essence de l’organisation. De même pour la #9 en lice pour la victoire en catégorie Bronze Cup qui devait se contenter de la 3e place dans la catégorie.
La course de la #8 avait, quant à elle, été compromise par un accrochage avec un concurrent dès la première heure de course.
Pascal Rauturier, Team Manager : « Le niveau du championnat est monté d’un cran cette année, aucune erreur ne sera permise pour l’emporter. Nous serons à SPA les 12 et 13 mai pour poursuivre notre programme de test afin d’améliorer notre niveau de performance. »
La prochaine course d'Ultimate Cup Series aura lieu le 31 mai à Magny-Cours.
